19th century dress and roses

June the 17th, 2016

This Monday, our dear friend Inga, who actually made these dresses, defended Master's degree (she received the highest evaluation of 10 points)! The work's subject was a 19th century historical costume, and the result of the practical task is right in front of you.

By the way, we decorated our coifurres with roses from our garden. This is when, standing amidst this heavenly fragrance, we understood that a 19th century woman rarely needed perfume – she often decorated her hair and ball dresses with live flowers. By the way, this tradition is still held by flamenco dancers in Andalucia, Southern Spain.
