A month ago, on April 23rd, the world marked William Shakespeare’s 400th death anniversary... He lived a very busy life since then – being reborn in an immense number of his characters, embodied by artists in all art forms possible.
Thomas Francis Dicksee (1853–1928), an English Victorian painter, revisited Juliet very often, and here is one of our favorite paintings by him – “Juliet”, 1877.
