Trakai castle and Palanga at the Baltic sea

Two paintings by Napoleon Orda (1807–1883), first of them depicting the ruins of Trakai castle and the second Palanga at the Baltic sea. Just like the representatives of romanticism in other countries, he was in a hurry to immortalize the images of his own land, disappearing almost in front of his eyes.
