The magical combination of white pearls and bright red goes back to the distant times of Ancient East, to the places where pearls were born – Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Mannar (between India and Sri Lanka) - places which were the main pearl supply and trading centres since antiquity.
